About Us
The Ramapo Saints have been in existence since 1975. We play out of Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks, a 2 sheet facility in Rockland county New York. We offer players the opportunity to play at Tier I, Tier II, Girls and the Junior levels. We have competed at the National levels in both League and Tournament play. Our teams have attended such prestigious tournaments as Silver Sticks, The Bell Cup and other internationally recognized tournaments.
We have recently hired a new Hockey Director, Dennis Jarvis, to lead us in achieving some of the same accolades we have experienced in our rich history. Dennis has been involved with hockey at all levels including the Youth and College levels. He is an astute follower of the game. In addition to putting forth the best coaching lineup each year, he will also study the various trends in youth hockey from year to year; so that we can be assured our teams are competing at the proper levels. He will constantly work with our coaching staff to provide them with the necessary tools they need to be better coaches. He will review practices and games at all levels throughout the season to ensure that we continue to improve in areas that we can.
Our teams compete at the Tier I level in the Atlantic Youth Hockey League, competing with the top teams from Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. We have Mites through Midgets that compete at the Tier II level in the New Jersey Youth Hockey League. Our girls compete in the GALS League. So whatever level you are at, you can be assured that we have a level for you.
Our long outstanding history speaks for itself. We have a coaching staff that is unsurpassed. We have a full time Hockey Director who will see to it that we have the most knowledgeable staff we can provide.
