AAA Midget 16 National Team Nets Five In Victory

The Saint Midget 16 National team turned in a strong effort in the win over the LI Gulls. Transition was the name of the game Saturday night as the Saints outshot the Gulls by a margin of 42 to 20. More than half the roster was in the points led by Brian Schiff (2 A) and Cole Maier (2 G) with 2 each. Maier is the team’s leading goal scorer adding 2 to his season tally. Goalie Joseph Lissak turned aside 20 shots. Michael Lopez opened the scoring in the first with a power play goal from Schiff.
