Saint Squirt White Take Plainsmen Tournament and Division Title

FOUR....In Cricket it is a scoring shot, Arena Football it is the number of points awarded for a drop kick, NCAA Basketball identifies its Final teams standing with it, in Baseball  it refers to the second baseman and  in the NFL it is the H-back.  Now add FOUR to Ramapo, as in the Ramapo Saints Squirt age division. The NJYHL’s only New York based club is sending all four Squirt teams to the playoffs.  Along with the White team (17-2-1) the Squirt A team of the Norris (red) division finished in first place turning in an undefeated (19-0-1) season. The Squirt AA (12-5-3) and Saint Blues (15-6-1) also reserved spots in Randolph NJ the site of the NJYHL playoffs for the weekend of March 18, 19 and 20.

Congratulations to the players for their hard work, effort and teamwork. Thank you to the coaches for your dedication to the youth of the Ramapo Saints and for a job well done. To the families’ thank you for the sacrifices, the scheduling, the sharpening, the carpooling, the searching for that lost elbow pad and for allowing your kids to play the game they love. It has been a season of fun, growth and development. But it is not over yet. To the boys and girls of the RAMAPO FOUR, have fun and enjoy the playoffs.  You have earned the chance to pull on that Saint logo one more time to stand your ground together, never back down, play hard play fair.....Good Luck in Randolph!
