Congratulations to former NY Saints Noemi Sofia Martinez (also known affectionately as "Nofia") as she commences her first season with The University Of New Hampshire Women's Division 1 Hockey Team. Noemi Sofia played Boys and Girls Youth Hockey at the Tier 1 level simultaneously, which as you can imagine is quite an accomplishment in itself. Incredibly, in 2021, she won the Boys AYHL 15U League Championship with the NY Saints, and attended Nationals with her girls youth team. She was the first Female to play in a Boys EHL Jr Hockey League game. During all of this club hockey activity Noemi Sofia attended the Lawrenceville School where she excelled academically as a 3 year starter on the Girls Hockey team and a member of the Track team competing in the Shot Put, Discus and 4 x 400 Shuttle Hurdles.
