14 Saints Players Selected For Quebec Pee-Wee International Tournament

Congratulations to the following Saints players selected to experience the Qubec PeeWee Tournament in February of 2023. This event is considered by many to be the most prestigious youth hockey tournament in the world!

 

For those on the Atlantic District teams the AAHA Québec program is a co-ed program open to athletes who reside or play in the Atlantic District. Every year, we select three teams to go to the Québec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament, the most prestigious youth hockey tournament in the world which is often referred to as the "Little League World Series of Hockey". The New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers teams play in the AAA division of the tournament and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms team plays in the AA Élite division. This event is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the athletes who participate. Tournament games are played in the 18,000+ seat Centre Vidéotron, home of the Remparts de Québec, and exhibition games are played in various rinks around the area. Our players billet with carefully selected and fully vetted local families who generously open their homes to visiting Peewees each year. The tournament takes place during Carnaval, a celebration of winter that includes parades, contests, games, demonstrations, and exhibitions. The AAHA Boys Player Development staff has been attending this tournament for 25-years, allowing us to ensure that our teams will operate smoothly and our players and families will get the most out of their experience. The Québec program is the entry point to the Atlantic District Boys Player Development Program, a sixyear development program that delivers evaluation, exposure, and unique, high-level training and competitive opportunities to elite youth hockey players in the Atlantic District. Players selected for one of our Québec teams also receive an automatic invitation to the 2023 Training & Development Camp.
