Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks

To All,
 
I understand that there are rumors within the hockey community to the effect that Sport-O-Rama will be closing. They are absolutely false. These rumors have existed before. However, we are still here as the only private rink in the metropolitan NY area in existence for 45 years.  
 
The fact is that the real estate was sold in 2020 for the third time in the 45 years. It does not affect Sport-O-Rama (Ramapo Ice Rinks Inc) as we have had a lease for the last 45 years and currently operate under the same lease. The sale of the building does not affect Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks in any way, except we pay rent to a different landlord.
 
I built Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks 45 years ago, it is still a family owned business and I have no intention of closing it. I also had Ramapo Youth Hockey incorporated 45 years ago and it is one of the largest, oldest and most successful youth hockey organizations in the NY, NJ area. I look forward to many more years of a successful relationship with the RYHA.
 
I would like to assure all the RYHA members of our continued relationship and that we are working with RYHA on the allocation of ice time for the 2021-2022 season
