Team captures tournament Championship on the 40th anniversary of the 1980 XIII Olympic Winter Games Miracle On Ice!
The Ramapo Saints 12U White team spent a special weekend in Lake Placid for the International Hockey Tournament coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the 1980 XIII Olympic Winter Games Miracle On Ice. Teams from afar gathered to celebrate what some view as the greatest moment of sports history. The teams participated in many special activities such as meeting former athletes and medalists, fireworks at the ski jumps, a special presentation of the movie Miracle and much more.
The Saints team complied a 4-0 record on the way to the finals. Congratulations to the players, parents and coaches of the 12U White team! |
